Terms of Service
Last updated: December 8, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Doccier (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.
2. Description of Service
Doccier provides an AI-powered service that analyzes your source code, commit history, and project metadata to generate documentation, changelogs, marketing materials, visual assets, pitch content, and other derived outputs. The Service uses Large Language Models (LLMs), and you acknowledge that generated content may contain inaccuracies or require human review.
3. Service in Development
Doccier is currently under active development. Features, access levels, pricing benefits, timelines, and product functionality described on the website or in marketing materials may change as the Service evolves. Early versions of the Service may be incomplete, experimental, or subject to modification without prior notice.
4. User Code & Intellectual Property
Your Code: You retain all ownership rights to the source code you submit to the Service. Doccier claims no intellectual property rights over your code.
Generated Assets: You own all documentation and materials generated by the Service based on your input and code.
Ephemeral Processing: We do not permanently store your source code. Code is processed ephemerally solely for generating the requested output and is discarded afterward.
5. Payments & Access Tiers
The “Early Adopter” and “Founder” tiers involve a one-time payment used to reserve discounted pricing and early access to upcoming versions of the Service. These payments do not grant immediate access to the final product and do not constitute a subscription.
Future subscription fees for the fully released Service will be billed separately once the product becomes publicly available. The features, discount levels, and access priority associated with each tier may evolve as development continues.
All Early Adopter and Founder payments are non-refundable, except in the case where the Service is never released. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that you are purchasing an access tier and future pricing benefit—not the finished product itself.
6. Accuracy of Generated Content
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for production use without human validation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all generated output before using it in your codebase, documentation, or communications.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempts to exploit, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to limit or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable laws, or for behavior harmful to the Service or other users.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” Doccier makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of generated output. In no event shall Doccier be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or generated materials.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, harms the Service or other users, or for any other reason deemed necessary.
